Come join Kasie from SAWDUST & Glitter DIY Makery and Angela from In Line K9 Co. on Thursday, May 4th at 6 pm in Wallkill for our pet themed paint party. Grab some friends and spend some time together getting creative. Not only will you leave with a wood project that you can be proud of but part of each ticket goes to Bleu's K9 Rescue Inc.
We'll be painting signs from our Pet Collection. We have multiple board styles to choose from including 12x12" square boards, 8x24" planks, 15x20" pallet boards, and 18" round door hangers. Some of the designs include personalization, hooks to hang leashes, or bows. You can also choose whether you'd like to upgrade our standard board to include a frame. Please note that some photos may show our framed boards.
To register, just choose which design you'd like to paint, one project per guest. During checkout it will ask about shipping, since this is an in person class and nothing will actually be shipped, please select the shipping option to paint at a workshop for $0. Exact address of workshop will be emailed to you after registration.
When you arrive at the workshop, you'll be able pick your favorite colors from our Paint Bar of over 35 paints and stains so you can customize it to your style. An instructor will then do a demo and walk you through all the steps to painting your project. We use high quality materials and vinyl stencils so your project will come out perfect even if you don't have experience or consider yourself artistic. There's no worry about a Pinterest fail. Workshops typically last around 2 1/2 hours.
If you would like to paint the pet portrait project, you will need to register by 4/19 to allow enough time to customize your project. (Don't worry if you miss the cut-off date though, we can always put together a Maker Kit To-Go after the event so you can paint that project at home.)
